14,000 encroachments, deviations, diversions, alterations and violations seems to have been reported.  The Violations seems to have been in the huge housing apartment complexes, where, the builders have illegally diverted and closed many raja kaluve, secondary channels and teritory canals and some are abutting the lakes.
