Railway budget on 8th july 2014
The government has announced yesterday (23.06.2014) dates of Rail Budget, Union Budget, Release of Economic Survey and Budget Session. The whole schedule of the budget process is the same as reported by us in our post dated 18.06.2014. While the other are predicting the Union budget to be presented either on 9th July or 11th July, we have correctly reported the expected date of budget 2014.
Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) decided at a meeting held in Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu’s chamber in Parliament House that –
- Budget session of Parliament will be held from 7 July to 14 August
- The Rail Budget will be presented on 8 July, 2014
- Economic Survey will be released on 9 July
