IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR NOTICE THAT THE KATHAS (INDIVIDUAL SITES WITH DETAILS IN SQUARE FEET)FOR THE PROPERTIES WHICH ARE DC CONVERTED AND HAD FORM NO.9 AND FORM NO.10, CMC KATHAS, IN DC CONVERTED AREAS AND OLD CMC AREAS (INDIVIDUAL SITES AND APARTMENTS,CMC/FORM NO.9 AND FORM NO.10.KATHA) MIGHT PAY THE IMPROVEMENT CHARGES (SITES ONLY)TO BBMP AND GET KATHA.

FORM NO.9, FORM NO.10 AND  PROPERTIES IN CMC AREAS MUST HAVE INDIVIDUAL KATHA AND KATHA EXTRACT (CLEARLY STATING THE EXTENT)AND NOT THE SURVEY NUMBERS.  THE SITE MEASUREMENT MUST BE MENTIONED IN SQUARE FEET.  SUCH PROPERTIES MIGHT PAY THE IMPROVEMENT CHARGES AND OBTAIN KATHA.

BUT MORE  DETAILS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND ARE TRYING TO OBTAIN THE DETAILS FROM DC REVENUE IN FEW DAYS.

    Any updates on same. I have been asked by bbmp office to provide the form 9 and form 10 docs along with dc convertion order, tax reciepts, ec, saledeed to get bbmp khata. the property is unapproved site thought.

    1. Dear Sir,
      Yes. You must submit all the documents for the payment of betterment charges and to get the katha.
      If it is unapproved, you cannot pay the charges and get katha, wait for akrama-sakrama.

    Any updates you heard regarding Akrama Sakrama or revenue sites regularisation or getting BBMP khatha for non-DC converted sites within BBMP.

  4. What is Form-9 & Form-10? Should this be for the individual site or for the entire land? Your reply is highly appreciated

      1. Thanks for your reply. I understand they are revenue records. I would like to know what information they will contain and what kind of property you will get this.

        More than that I would like to know if these Forms as for entire layout or for individual sites

    I am planning to buy a flat in an apartment. The flat is having ‘B’ katha. But the land is having ‘A’ katha and the landlord have paid all betterment charges and taxes. So my lawyer saying with those documents if I go to BBMP office, I can get ‘A’ Katha easily.. Is that possible ??

    Most of the banks are not approving loans for ‘B’ Katha property. So I am plannning to convert it to ‘A’ katha before registration.

    I have an apt in Bannergatta and the katha is in the builders name and says CMC katha. How can I get a BBMP katha in my name now?

    Is the BBMP accepting application and betterment charges to convert CMC Katha to BBMP katha now? I am getting conflicting responses. Can you please confirm what is true. Thanks in advance.

    1. Dear Sir,
      Why do you worry. Take photocopies of all the copies of your document to the ARO of your jurisdiction and make an application in writing, if your property entries are there, then, the betterment will be accepted or it will be rejected. If it is rejected, wait for akrama-sakrama as your property is in AKRAMA status.
