The state Government took a cabinet decision to repeal Sections 79A and 79B of KLR Act and subsequently due to stiff opposition from the Raitha Sangha and others, did not notify it. It is learnt that the Government is reconsidering the same with some changes.
The Government has not notified the amendment yet and it is being awaited.
