AN APARTMENT COMPLEX, WHICH WAS BEING CONSTRUCTED in BELLANDUR BY AN ANDHRA BASED BUILDER, COLLAPSED, KILLING 5 WORKERS AND INJURING FEW.
The civic agency, BBMP, has filed an FIR U/s 304 IPC, against seven persons which also includes the architect, MR Hema, who is associated with RK Associates situated at RHB Colony on Whitefield Road has been named in the FIR has been held responsible for deviating from the construction plan and undertaking illegal floor construction and the Andhra based Co-owner Srinivasulu Reddy from Tirupati was arrested by the police late on Wednesday night, along with Reddy, the police are also questioning Lalith Kumar, another co-owner.
The six owners mentioned in the FIR are Vinay Kumar Daggolu (excise colony, Warangal), T Lalith Kumar (Dasarahalli), T Ravi Kumar (Tirupathi), K Prathima (OMBR layout), who is the wife of Srinivasulu Reddy, J Jostna (Koramangala) and Dr R Pradeep (Subramanya Nagar).
