Local residents who have been living for decades wants the road to be connected and hence demanded that the compound wall to be removed, The BBMP had attempted to remove the alleged encroachment, but the compound wall area is the property of the Sobha Daffodils apartment complex and the residents approached the court and obtained a STAY ORDER
Sobha Daffodils residents obtained a stay order was against demolishing the compound wall by the civic agency. This stay was vacated on August 2, 2016. The residents then approached the division bench on August 5 and a status quo order was granted till August 24. On August 24, the division bench extended the stay order till the next hearing.
The final order came on September 8. All the three concerned parties: BDA, BBMP and the Condominium submitted that the case may be disposed of by requesting the single judge to take action as soon as possible. They also agreed that the status quo could continue till the case was disposed of by the single judge.
