Bangalore City Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested two persons involved in the forgery and fraud of issuing FAKE OR FORGED BBMP A KATHA. The arrested persons had more than 412 seals of BBMP officials of all the areas and zones of BBMP.
We have published a warning in our blog regarding the thorough examination and verification of all A katha purchases earlier this month as we had suspected that many A kathas issued are FAKE OR BOGUS OR FORGED OR IRREGUALR. In one case, on Hosur Road, an apartment complex having more than few hundred apartment GOT THE A KATHA, it was investigated and found that it was issued without complying with the KMC Act as the building had more than 50% deviation and has not been constructed as per the sanctioned plan and did not obtain the Commencement Certificate and Occupancy Certificate.
There were some resellers of the apartment in the same area or zone, all of them claiming that they have A katha and offering the buyers BANK LOAN.

HOW CAN AN ILLEGAL OR IRREGUALR OR PROPERTY WITH VIOLATION AND DEVIATION CAN EVER GET THE A KATHA?
ONLY BY ILLEGAL MEANS. BANK LOAN DOES NOT CONFER ANY RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST.
KATHA IS THE SECONDARY TITLE DOCUMENT AND IT IS NOT THE TITLE DEED.
