IT IS ALSO TO BE NOTED THAT SEVERAL SURVEY NUMBERS IN ITTAMADU, AREHALLY AND KATRIGUPPE ACQUIRED LONG BACK BY BDA HAS ALSO BEEN SOLD WITH THE HELP OF BBMP A KATHA AND FABRICATED AND BOGUS DOCUMENTS, AS THE BDA DID NOT TAKE THE POSSESSION OF THESE LANDS.
THE RECOVERY OF GOVERNMENT LANDS IN AND AROUND PUTTENAHALLY LAKE, J.P.NAGAR HAS BEGUN, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT OVER 34 ACRES OF LAKE PROPERTY HAD BEEN SOLD BY THE LAND MAFIA WITH THE FABRICATED AND FAKE DOCUMENTS.

every one including MLA,MLC,CORPORATOR,BUILDERS, GOVT OFFICIALS,SUB-REGISTRAR and many more are involved in this without their involment it would not be possible to sell this land.My question is if its encroached land why do you claim after 20-30 years and let buildings to come up and allow registration,provide electricity,water etc this all happen because all the above people get their share of money and innocent people who put their life saavings suffer as being the end user.all people involved in this scam go scootfree and proceed another scam they should be brought to justice.allways the poor man suffers????

It is not the question of rich or poor. The buyer must have conducted a thorough and diligent enquiry before the purchase of the schedule property. Everyone knows that it is the lake and belongs to the Government from time immemorial and as usual in our country the officials and the politicians join hands in this scam and make money. Ignorance of law is no excuse.
The perpetrators of this crime has fabricated bogus or fake documents and obtained the electricity and water connection, based on these connections, titles cannot be conferred. The BESCOM is a power supplier and BWSSB is the water supplies, like any other merchant establishment but without any profit motive under the control of the government and the connection will not confer any right, title and interest.
Even, in the office of the Sub-Registrar, fake and bogus documents are presented for the registration and the so called `POOR` pays the facilitation charge or money to the officers to get the fake or bogus document or defective documents to be registered at his own peril and misery.
Who is at fault? Why would the POOR man pay money to register it and pay facilitation charge to BESCOM and BWSSB to get connection and pay money and submit defective and bogus documents to get Katha?
Hence, It is always suggested to conduct a thorough and diligent enquiry into the titles as well as the seller and his background.
