THE BBMP IS IN THE PROCESS OF ISSUING THE CIRCULAR REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF IMPROVEMENT CHARGES/BETTERMENT CHARGES ON THE DC CONVERTED PROPERTY SOON.  IT HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED UNTIL NOW.

It is HIGHLY HIGHLY FRUSTURATING to note that the Betterment Charges circular (to realize Khata A from DC Converted site) from BBMP which were supposed to be issued last week is nowhere to be seen and completely missing in action. Any idea – whatzza the latest status on this ? (As a complete joker, I was really expecting me to go to BBMP office last week itself and pay up the betterment charges. What a fool and naïve I was )

    Was googling – I just realized that this story is been consistently getting repeated for the past 4 -5 years. Some senseless and moron newspaper suddenly wakes up and picks up some bytes from existing or non existing BBMP officer and goes to the town saying that the window to pay betterment charges is opened from “non existing” tomorrow. Day dreaming citizens like me visit the respective BBMP office, only to be laughed off and shrugged by these ignorant BBMP fellas (since they have not been supplied with the so called circular) . Then there is pin drop silence for many months on this betterment charges. This story now gets repeated one more time when “Some senseless and moron newspaper……………………”.

    I was really hoping that this time BBMP was very serious since it has gone completely kaput and bankrupt and pauper, alas to get DISAPPOINTED once again.
    Will our dream to lay hands on our Khata A will ever get realized ?
    Will our dream to secure the house construction loan from main stream bank will ever get realized to build a gorgeous house for our family ?
    ( I really doubt boy !!!)

    1. Do not worry,Vipin. BBMP will not leave you in cold. BBMP wants money, you are willing to pay, it is just matter of time. Hold on. Till yesterday evening, the circular was not issued, it might be issued very soon.

Thatzaa indeed a very encouraging reply buddy – I will lit crackers through the entire length and breadth of Mathikere (my residence) for the entire day as if there is no tomorrow once the circular is officially aired 🙂 🙂 🙂 akin to a pre-mature Deepavali. This wait has been that humongously frusturating .

    1. If your property is legally eligible and meets the criteria set by the circular, then, you can pay it and get the katha.

Yes it is legally eligible buddy – My DC converted site at Chikkabettahalli when purchased on 2007 was a Gram Panchayat one and in the same year was included under BBMP’s jurisdiction (So it is a DC Converted BBMP site ). The only problem where my site was denied Khata A was because the owner of this layout did not get approval from BDA/BMRDA . So it is been a painful wait from 2007 for Khata A

      2. Check thoroughly about the status of your property. Betterment is accepted only for the entire and full extent shown in the dc conversion order and not for bits and parts. Check with bbmp too.

      4. Thanks Plenty for your concerns buddy – I understand your points. My property papers were thoroughly vetted by a law firm and only aftermath their go-ahead – I purchased the property along with my brother in the same layout. (infact my law firm went to the extent where old DC Conversion copy was freshly fetched from the DC office and got it once again attested)
