AKRAMA – SAKRAMA IN MAY 2014
The Government of Karnataka is ready to implement the Akrama-Sakrama scheme for regularising building bylaw deviations in various cities, including Bangalore.
Chief Minister Shri.Siddaramaiah chaired the meeting that approved the implementation of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning (Regularisation of Unauthorised Developments) Rules 2013, also known as Akrama-Sakrama, without any further delay.
The meeting decided to set the cut-off date as October 19, 2013 for regularisation of building bylaw violations by levying a regularisation fee.
Any violations and deviations in building bylaws and plan sanctions after the cut-off date (19-10-2013) would be dealt with severely and such structures would be demolished.
The final notification is expected to be issued within a week, after which the scheme will come into effect, Town and country planning director S B Honnur made a power point presentation at the meeting.
What can be regularised
■ Land use violations.
■ Unauthorised development of buildings.
■ All buildings which are completed with occupation certificate or PID numbers.
■ Building/portion of building constructed without the building plan approval but developed according to zoning regulations.
Documents needed
■ Title Document.(Mother deed-sale deed etc)
■ Record of rights, tenancy and crops (RTC)/Khatha.
■ Survey sketch from Revenue Dept/sketch of urban property ownership record.
■ Site plan showing details of the surroundings with survey number, abutting roads, buildings etc.
■ Key plan or location plan.
■ Photograph of development from different sides.
■ Approved layout or building plan.
Thanks for the post. Really good news. What about B-khata revenue land which is not DC converted but comes under the BBMP limits – Will it be eligible for regularization ( Akhata) by paying the necessary charges once the final notification is issued? please share your valuable comment;
