THE BBMP HAD DISCONTINUED/STOPPED THE COLLECTION OF BETTERMENT/IMPROVEMENT CHARGES IN THE WAKE OF HIGH COURT ORDER, FEW MONTHS AGO.
THE BBMP WILL LEVY UNIFORM IMPROVEMENT/BETTERMENT CHARGES ON DC CONVERTED SITES IN BBMP AREAS, FOLLOWING A REPRIMAND BY THE HIGH COURT FOR CHARGING DIFFERENCIAL RATES FOR SITES OF VARYING DIMENSION. THE STANDING COMMITTEE ON TAXATION AND FINANCE WILL MEET AND SUGGEST A UNIFORM SLAB FOR ALL DC CONVERTED SITES OF VARIYING DIMENSION AND THE RECOMMENDATION WILL BE PLACED BEFORE THE BBMP COUNCIL BY THE END OF THIS MONTH.
THE BBMP WILL RESUME THE COLLECTION (MONEY) SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROM DC CONVERTED SITE OWNERS!!!!!

Will this include individual sites part of the layout not approved
I plan to buy an aptm near Banaswadi, BBMP sanctioned plan, with betterment charges paid, having PID, but no CC, OC, Conversion Order and entered on B Register. As this is not revenue site, why does still the apmt can’t have A-Khata although land has it. And is there a substantial risk in going ahead as SBI also is not approving it.

Will betterment charges be collected from Non DC Converted sites? Yes, i mean sites/houses with B Khatha. I have a site, BBMP tax paid receipts available(in my name), B khatha available (in my name), Mother deed, Sale deed, EC, Layout plan, New Unique Identification Number also available.
Cant i have a “A khatha” without DC Conversion?
Also can DC conversion be done for individual sites? If yes, whats the procedure?
If no, what is the alternative?
It would be great if you list down a simple procedure to convert B Khatha to A Khatha. A lot of Bangaloreans are looking for it.

I bought a non DC converted site and got B Katha for that site after registration. There are lot of houses around and the layout is completely occupied and Layout has Panchayath permission and sketchs, Is my site is eligible to pay betterment tax once govt will allow? Please advice
