THE BBMP IS ISSUING` B` FORMS OR( B) KATHA AS IS GENERALLY CALLED IS JUST A FORM CREATED UNDER THE 2008, TAXATION RULE, WHICH WILL NOT CONFER ANY RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST ON THE HOLDER. AN ENTRY IN THE REGISTER OF TAXES WILL BE MADE UPON PAYMENT OF TAXES AND THIS FORM IS ISSUED. THIS IS ISSUED TO FACILITATE THE SALES OF PROPERTIES, WHICH HAD LONG BEEN STOPPED. AS THERE WERE NUMEROUS APPEALS AND PUBLIC OUTCRY FOR HAVING BANNED THE REGISTRATION OF SUCH PROPERTIES, THE GOVERNMENT RELAXED THE NORMS AND ISSUING `B` FORMS.
IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT FAKE `B` FORMS ARE IN CIRCULATION. IN ONE SUCH CASE, THE SR REFERRED IT TO THE BBMP REVENUE OFFICER TO CONFIRM IT AS ORIGINAL BEFORE REGISTERING THE PROPERTY.

Can i get home loan from national banks?
It is unlikely that Nationlised Banks sanction home loans for this kind of properties.
I have site with B-Katha, Can I use this to get education loan from nationalized bank?
The loan is sanctioned to the borrower for the specific purpose and the property is just a collateral security, in case of default, the bank is assured that it can recover the amount lent. Up to Rs4,00,000/- security is not required. Above Rs4,00,000/- the bank can sanction educational loan. Please try with SBI.
Please , kindly forward a sample/example of formats of full sets papers for Khata issued by Town Muncipal Limits in practice at various Towns in Karanataka. Because the lawyers create to many objection this not kahata and also not suggesting the format which is applicable in prctice.

We have applied for Katha, where as we got ‘B’ form from BBMP. I would like to know whether we will get ‘B’ Katha or we have to survive with the ‘B’ form. Is there any way to get ‘B’ Katha in future.
There is only one KATHA. To facilitiate the transaction, B forms are issued. B katha and B form are one and the same. There may be some illegalities/irregularities/defect/violation/non compliance of KLR Act,Klreforms Act and KTCP Act, hence, B form issued to the person who has paid the tax and has a sale deed.
