The High Court of Karnataka took a serious view and summoned The Commissioner, BBMP to the court and warned him for the non-submission and for not taking any action on buildings without plans, buildings, which have violated the sanctioned plans, and the Commissioner assured the Court that he would submit the survey report by 09-12-2021.
The action on illegal construction appears to be imminent.
The violators or the building owners who have constructed the buildings by violating the sanctioned building plan or by deviating the sanction plan say that they have,
- BBMP
AKATHA, - CAUVERY WATER CONNECTION,
- BESCOM POWER CONNECTION,
- TAX PAID FOR THE VIOLATION.
But, None of these statements or averments hold good.
AND Some abnormally over intelligent, half-educated and misguided elements say,
NOTHING WILL HAPPEN and DO NOT WORRY.
But, the BBMP has started issuing notices in the heart of the city, and the A Katha for the buildings with deviation and violation has to face the law.
Additionally, the lending banks, might also come into the picture and demand the repayment of the entire outstanding loan, as per the loan agreement. It is to be noted, that at the time of borrowing, the Banks or Financial institutions, demand an undertaking or an affidavit, stating that the building has been constructed as per the sanctioned plan, but none of the borrowers are aware of what had been subscribed by them.
The RBI, the controller, might also step in. There is a proposal by one of the concerned citizen, that wish to implead the RBI for initiating the steps on the banks, which have violated the conditions.
