The State Legislature passed the aforesaid amendment paving the way for the purchase of Agricultural Lands with some exceptions, by the citizens. Sections 79A and 79B, which had earlier restricted the purchase of agricultural lands by non-agriculturists, stands repealed by this Amendment.
