There are few layouts formed in the aforesaid villages, have complied with all the legal formalities. The properties were converted from agriculture to residential use and approved by the BDA, the planning authority and all of them have BDA Katha, and are paying taxes to BDA as absolute owners.

On 28/08/2020, the documents were submitted for registration of absolute sale deed in the office of the sub-registrar with all the annexures, but was declined, ass system, did not accept the BDA katha.

The owners/buyers and their advocates tried to contact the District Registrar, as usual, NOT AVAILABLE and tried to contact the IGR office, as usual NO REPLY.

The joke is that, if you have a 11B katha, or Bonda Katha or B Katha, the properties can be registered, whereas, if there is a genuine BDA Katha, it cannot be registered, because, the system does not accept genuine properties.

The IGR must resolve this issue immediately. What is the fault of the buyer and seller, who are buying legitimate properties with all approvals?

One response to “The plight of the buyers of legitimate sites in BDA approved layouts in Kurudusonnenahalli and dommasandra”
