This tax does not exist in many states. They should do away with it and stop harassing public.You find all kind of taxes in karnataka and by giving 5% you are not doing a great favor. Its time to think as to what you pay and what you get. Not blindly pay just because there is a non functioning Govt.for only collecting taxes. All major projects are being funded by the center. Where is the money going.
