TAR BAGYA TO BANGALORE ROADS!!

The city roads were not asphalted in last seven years and the elections to BBMP ensured that some tarring will be done, till the election results are announced.

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is all set to begin the asphalting of 274 roads, measuring about 300 km, by the weekend at the cost of  Rs 417 crores.

The identified roads will be tarred under the chief minister’s Nagarothana scheme and the work order has been issued for around Rs 200 crores BBMP’s Major Roads Infrastructure Department has been asked to execute the work.

Hennur Road, Banaswadi Main Road, Tannery Road, Arabic College Main Road, Boopasandra Main Road, St. John’s Road, Ulsoor Road, Miller Road, Queens Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Brunton Road, Brigade Road, Hosur Main Road (widening and tarring in front of the mosque) and Johnson Market Road to Vellara Junction
