    Thanks for the details.
    I heard that, in Karnataka buying an agricultural land is not easy – the buyer should have agricultural background.

    So, can you please let us know some details regarding that also?
    I live in Bangalore and don’t have any agricultural background.
    My father was born in a Village near Hasan and migrated to Bangalore 65 years back.
    But, we don’t have any relatives or property in that village and also we don’t have any links.
    So, is there any legal way in which I can buy an agricultural land?

      Dear Sir,
      No issues.
      If all other things are normal, you can buy it.

      You can make an application to the AC or DC and furnish necessary documents with fees and get the permission to buy the agricultural land, provided your family income is within the specified limit under KLR Act.

    My parents already own agricultural land in their name. I have non-agricultural income exceeding two lacs per annum , can I buy agricultural land in my name ?

    I have a record(RTC) of owing agriculture land(Ancestral Property) in my name of about 1/4th Acre. And my non -agriculture income exceeds 2 Lacs /per annum. I am selling the existing agriculture land and invest in new agriculture land. Can i buy in my name or can i buy in wife’s name . Who has no income. Requesting for reply at the earliest.
